Catherine Elizabeth Lyles Jones
Services for Catherine Elizabeth Lyles Jones, of Gore Springs,are 10 a.m. Saturday, May 23, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church inGrenada with burial in Mizpah Cemetery in Durant.
Visitation is Friday from 4 until 6 p.m. at Southern FuneralHome in Lexington.
Mrs. Jones, 71, died May 19, 2009, at Elvis Presley RegionalMedical Center in Memphis, Tenn.
She was a store supervisor for Mims Oil Co. She was a member ofSt. Peter’s Catholic Church.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Henry R. Jones Sr.
Survivors are her sons, Henry R. Jones Jr., of Gore Springs,Christopher B. Jones, of Oakvale, and Raymond E. Jones, of Vaiden;a daughter, Denice Lambert, of Monticello; her brothers, BillLyles, of Brighton, Tenn., and Wayne Lyles, of Indianapolis, Ind.;her sisters, Sara Wallace, of Memphis, and Nita Bowers, ofSouthaven; her 12 grandchildren; and her eightgreat-grandchildren.
Bonnie Jean Jordan
Services for Bonnie Jean Jordan, of Summit, are 2 p.m. Saturday,May 23, at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home Chapel in McComb withburial in Whittington Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 1until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Miss Jordan, 68, died May 20, 2009, at Liberty Community LivingCenter. She was born in Silsbee, Texas, on June 22, 1940, toGervase G. Jordan and Mary Louise Edwards Jordan.
She was a medical receptionist for McComb Family Practice andthe former owner and operator of Bonnie Jean’s Restaurant inMcComb. She was a member of Open Door Baptist Church in Summit. Shewas a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend toall.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors are her daughters, Mary Leigh Masilko, of Marrero,La., and Martha Hart, of Summit; a brother, Les Jordan, of Summit;a sister-in-law; a granddaughter; her two great-granddaughters; aniece; and a great-nephew.
Percy Day Marsh Sr.
Services for Percy Day Marsh Sr., of Bogue Chitto, were 11 a.m.Friday, May 22, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel withburial in Cold Springs Church of Christ Cemetery in BogueChitto.
Mr. Marsh, 81, died May 20, 2009, at his residence. He was bornon April 20, 1928, to Frank Marsh and Rebecca Taylor Marsh.
He was an oilfield worker. He was of the Baptist faith.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a daughter, VirginiaLynn Marsh; his brothers, Clifton Marsh, Benjamin Marsh and HenryMarsh; his sisters, Fannie Randall, LeLa Mae Brock and RubieRushell Marsh.
Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Marsh; his sons, Percy MarshJr., of Brookhaven, and Keith Marsh, of Brookhaven; her daughters,Teresa Hannah and husband, Shane, of Brookhaven, Becky Rawls andhusband, Eric, of Brookhaven, and Sharon Thomas, of Orange Beach,Texas; a sister, Alma Mattie Allen, of Morgan City, La.; his 19grandchildren, Corey, Eric and Brittany Rials, Jennifer and JeremyHannah, Nicole, Nathaniel and Travis Marsh, and many more; a veryspecial grandson, Johnny; his nine great-grandchildren; andnumerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Smith, 89, died May 20, 2009, at Silver Cross Home. She wasborn on Oct. 22, 1919, to Ervin Smith and Mary Reed Smith.
She retired from Stahl-Urban Manufacturing. She was a faithfulmember of Central Baptist Church and was a member of the Young atHeart.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, CecilCase; her brothers, Percy Smith, Hugh V. Smith and Lewis Smith; hersisters, Almo Tillison, Erie Bell Gore, Beatrice Allen, RitaBessonette and Martha Lou Lofton.
Survivors are her husband, Roy E. Smith; a son, Harry Lane Caseand wife, Rachel, of Brookhaven; a daughter, Joyce Fairchild andhusband, Roy, of Brookhaven; a sister, Virgie Smith, of Brookhaven;her five grandchildren; and her seven great-grandchildren.
