Joe Allen ‘Pop’ Hamler Jr.
Graveside services for Joe Allen “Pop” Hamler Jr. of Monticellowere 2 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at Mission Hill Baptist ChurchCemetery. Harrigill Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Hamler, 37, died May 12, 2005, at Southwest Regional MedicalCenter. He was born in Montgomery County, Texas on Oct. 9, 1967, toJoe Allen Hamler Sr. and Loretta White Hamler.
He was a self-employed heavy equipment operator.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents.
Survivors are his parents; his sisters, Barbara Cossett and LoriMcDaniel, both of Carthage, Texas; his brother, Lionel Hamler ofMonticello; three nieces; and three nephews.
Iris M. Lee
Services for Iris M. Lee of Meadville are 3 p.m., Sunday, May15, at New Hope Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.
Visitation is Sunday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., at FranklinFuneral Home in Meadville.
Mrs. Lee, 89, died May 12, 2005, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.She was born in Franklin County on Sept. 22, 1915, to J.M. Martinand Flossie Martin.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Hope BaptistChurch.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, AlbertLee; and three brothers.
Survivors are her sons, Glen Lee of McCall Creek, Gene Lee ofMeadville, and Bobby Lee of Tupelo; her brother, Rayford Martin ofBirmingham; three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.
Claude Edward Porter
Services for Claude Edward Porter of Natchez are 2 p.m., Sunday,May 15, at Grace United Methodist Church with burial in WessonCemetery in Wesson. Laird Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 1-2 p.m., at the church.
Mr. Porter, 75, died May 13, 2005, at Natchez Regional MedicalCenter.
