Mr. Norrell, 89, died March 16, 2001, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. He was born in Sumrall on Aug. 25, 1911, to CharlesB. Norrell and Margaret Quackenbush Norrell.

He was a stock market analyst and investor. He was a member ofthe Seventh Day Adventist faith. He was an Army veteran ofWWII.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Marie Yawn Norrell of Bogue Chitto; hisstepdaughter, Marva Rie Erwin of Bogue Chitto; his brother, W. J.Norrell of Dayton, Texas; and a host of cousins and otherrelatives.
