Services for Helen Estelle Upton of Byram are 2 p.m., Monday,April 8, at Byram Baptist Church with burial in Lakewood SouthCemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Upton, 86, died April 6, 2002, at Briar Hill Rest Home inFlorence. She was a native of Delhi, La.

She was a member of Byram Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Ernest L. Upton Sr.;and her son, Tom Upton.

Survivors are her sons, Butch Upton of Wesson and Kenny Upton ofByram; her daughters, Ann Hajj of Star, Ashley Midlothian of Texas,and Frances Autry of Marrero, La.; her brother, Billy Newton ofDelhi, La.; her sisters, Velma Daingerfield, Gloria Dean Colvin,and Ella Gipson Edwards, all of Monroe, La.; and 21 grandchildren,26 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
