Services for Andrew Anderson Sr., of Marrero, La., formerly ofFayette, are noon Saturday, Feb. 19 at Mt. Pleasant UnitedMethodist Church in Fayette with burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from noon until 5 p.m. at Marshall Funeral Homein Bude.

Mr. Anderson, 64, died Feb. 13, 2005, at West Jefferson Hospital inLouisiana. He was born in Mississippi on April 22,1940, to JessieAnderson and Helen Synder Thomas.

He was a plumber.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his stepfather, Will T.Thomas Sr.; and a brother, Cammie Anderson.

Survivors are his wife, Imogene Anderson; two daughters, NicoleAnderson, of Marrero and LaLeasha Anderson of Gretna; four sons,Gary Hall, of Fayette, Gregory Anderson, of Natchez, AndrewAnderson Jr. and Kirby Anderson, both of Marrero; three sisters,Hattie Russ, of New Orleans, Virginia Cruel, of Gretna, and FrancesFrye, of Biloxi; three brothers, Summit Thomas, of Fayette, Will T.Thomas, of Vicksburg, and Billy Thomas of Arkansas.

Terrissa Ann Burch

Services for Terrissa Ann Burch, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m. today,Feb. 18 at Community Funeral Services.

Mrs. Burch, 75, died Feb. 16, 2005, at her residence. She was bornin Booneville on May 7, 1929, to Tom Peeler and Leland TaysPeeler.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and one grandchild.

Survivors are her husband, Claud Burch, of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Claudette Boutwell, of Brookhaven, and Tommye Craddock,of Atlanta, Ga.; her son, Kenneth Brinkley II, of Clinton; eightgrandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Lucile Vardaman Peets

Services for Lucile Vardaman Peets, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.Saturday, Feb. 19 at Decell Memorial Methodist Church with burialin the Wesson Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-7 p.m. at Brookhaven Funeral Home andSaturday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Peets, 101, died Feb. 17, 2005, at her residence. She was bornin Copiah County on Nov. 3, 1903, to Joe Vardaman and Alice DunganVardaman.

She was retired from Benoits, where she worked in sales. She was amember of the Wesson Garden Club. She was a member of DecellMemorial Methodist Church where she was a member of the UnitedMethodist Women.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Albert Peets;her sister, Thelma Duckworth; her brothers, J.W. Vardaman, the Rev.Bruce Vardaman, and Dr. Thomas Hubert Vardaman.

Survivors are her daughter, Dolores Porter and her husband, Claude,of Natchez; her son, Albert Peets Jr., and his wife, Anna Ruth, ofWesson; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

James T. Smith

Services for James T. Smith, of Monticello, are 11 a.m. Saturday,Feb. 19 at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel in Monticello with burial inBethshan Cemetery in Monticello.

Mr. Smith, 66, died Feb. 16, 2005, at his residence. He was born inRichton on Aug. 5, 1938, to Carnie E. Smith and Arulee WahatleySmith.

He was a retired maintenance mechanic from Georgia Pacific inMonticello. He was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. He enjoyedgoing to Bible study and church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his first wife, ElvieOwens Smith.

Survivors are his wife, Betty Smith, of Monticello; his sons, JamesSmith Jr., of Monticello, Anthony Smith, of Wilson, N.C., MichaelSmith, of Mobile, Ala., and Joseph Smith, of Jackson; his sisters,Annette Windham, of Repton, Ala., Jodie Robbins, of Robertsdale,Ala., and Voncill Smith, of Milton, Fla.; his brothers, Arvin RaySmith and Paul Smith, both of Pensacola, Fla.; seven grandchildren;and one great-grandchild.
