Services for Larry Smith, of Bogalusa, La., were 11 a.m. today,Dec. 8 at Stateline Pentecostal Church with burial in StatelineCemetery. Hartman-Hughes Funeral Home in Tylertown was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Smith, 59, died Dec. 5, 2005, at Northshore Regional MedicalCenter in Slidell, La. He was born in Walthall County on July 29,1946, to Percy Lee Smith and Johnie Mae Miller Smith, ofTylertown.

He was an insurance broker and a member of the United FaithPentecostal Church of Bogalusa.

Preceding him in death were his father; one brother, Glen Smith;and a sister, Helen Dillon.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Ann Freeman Smith, ofBogalusa; three sons, Mike Smith, of Brookhaven, Mark, and MatthewSmith, both of Bogalusa; one daughter, Melissa Desmond, ofMandeville, La.; one brother, Jerry Smith, of Franklinton; ninegrandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
