Services for Linda Jean Hancock Summers, of McCall Creek, willbe held at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 28, at Ramah Baptist Churchwith burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home onNatchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Thursday from 6 until 9 p.m. at the church, and onFriday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Summers, 66, died March 26, 2008, at her residence. She wasborn in Franklin County on Feb. 19, 1942, to Robert Ellison Hancockand Ruth Lewis Hancock.
She was an instructor with Allied Enterprises. She was a memberof Ramah Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors are her brothers, Robert Ellison Hancock Jr., ofLucien, Phillip Neal Hancock, of Sacramento, Calif., and Gary WayneHancock, of McCall Creek; her sister, Glenda June Bates, of McCallCreek; her 11 nieces and nephews; 27 great-nieces andgreat-nephews; and two great-great-nephews.
