The Mid-South Junior High Basketball Tournament tips off Mondaynight in Jack Case Gymnasium at West Lincoln. Eight teams willparticipate in this week’s tournament which begins Monday, resumesWednesday and Thursday and finishes with the championship gamesSaturday.

Teams participating include West Lincoln, Loyd Star, BogueChitto, Enterprise, Wesson, Topeka-Tilton, Salem and Dexter.

Monday’s first-round games feature Wesson against Enterprise ingirls and boys action at 4 p.m. and 5 respectively. Following at 6and 7 will be girls and boys games between Salem and WestLincoln.

Wednesday’s first-round games continue with Dexter vs. Loyd Starat 4 and 5 followed by Bogue Chitto vs. Topeka at 6 and 7.

Thursday’s semifinals feature the Enterprise -Wesson girls andboys winners square off with the Salem-West Lincoln winners at 4and 5. At 6 and 7, the Dexter-Loyd Star winners battle the BogueChitto-Topeka winners.

Saturday’s championship girls game starts at 5:30. The boystitle contest begins at 6:30.
