Funeral services for Joseph M. Benson, of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m.on Wednesday, Dec. 22, at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer inBrookhaven, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven.Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 1:30 p.m. at Cannon Hall atthe church.

Mr. Benson, 85, died Dec. 18, 2010, at his residence. He was bornin Adrian, Minn., on June 11, 1925, to Joseph D. Benson and LillianWemple Benson.

He was parts and service manager with General Motors. He was amember of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his son, Chris Benson; andhis daughter-in-law, Terri Lynn Benson.

Survivors are his wife, Dorothy Benson of Brookhaven; his daughter,Susan Marie Benson of Brookhaven; and his brother, Roger L. Bensonof Sioux City, Iowa.
