Funeral services for Dara Diann Williams, of Brookhaven, are 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 9, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Williams, 35, died Jan. 5, 2013. She was born in Houston.
She was a loving mother, daughter and sister, as well as a kind and affectionate friend. Her sense of humor and signature smile lit up each and every room she entered. Dara was a planner and a caregiver. Each daily routine was scheduled accordingly. She was pursuing a degree in nursing at Southwest Mississippi Community College and would have proudly served her community. Dara enjoyed country music and her vocal ability rings in the ears of everyone who knew her.
Preceding her in death were her son, Dylan Williams; grandparents, Ray and Margie Hurdle, Joseph Dudley McClellen, and Chester and Joyce Walker; and her aunt, Cookie Kelley.
Survivors are her adoring son, Waylan Williams; beloved fiancé, Jason Adams; mother, Diann McClellen; father, Wayne Walker; brothers, Jason Walker and wife, Regina, and Joseph Walker and wife, Lorian Scoggin; sisters, Jodi Riley and husband, Jay, and Jana Walker; aunts, Elaine Self and husband, Paul, and Joleen Ackley; uncle, Kenneth McClellen and wife, Gale; longtime, loving best friend, Amy Branch; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and loving friends.
