Funeral services for Josie Mary Norton Moak, of Wesson, are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Moak Family Cemetery in Caseyville.

     Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Moak, 86, died Sept. 16, 2012, at Haven Hall Health Care Center. She was born in Brookhaven on May 22, 1926, to Joe Robert Norton Sr. and Mary Ollie Falvey Norton.

     She was a housewife and mother of seven children. Mrs. Moak was a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Wesson.

     Preceding her in death were her father; mother; son, Johnny Marvin Moak; brothers, Carlos Norton and Charles Edward Norton; sisters, Ella Marie Norton Moore, Margie Annie Norton Leonard, Bonnie Sue Norton Leach and Carolyn Marie Norton Millwood.

     Survivors are her sons, Robert Wiley “RW” Moak and wife Erma, Howard Wayne Moak, Richard Carroll Moak and wife, Dolly, Jimmy Gerald Moak and wife, Joy, and Ellis Ray Moak; daughter, Rosemary Moak Pickering and husband, Garry; brothers, Joe Robert Norton Jr., James Wesley Norton and Jack Lewis Norton; sisters, Ruthie Geneva Norton Plunckett, Charolette Pearl Norton Loper and Frances Cleo Norton Watkins; 12 grandchildren, Mary, Deniece, Junior, Tracy, Brian, Tony, Jessica, Becky, LaRon, Dustin, Hannah and Jimbo; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
