Services for Jessie Nell Smith, of Tylertown, are 11 a.m.Saturday, June 16, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Ruthwith burial in the church cemetery. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 5 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 60, died June 10, 2007, at Ochsner Hospital in NewOrleans, La. She was born on April 17, 1947, to Erzeal Davis andJessie Hines Davis.

She attended J.J. Gulledge Memorial High School in Tylertown,and Prentiss Institute in Prentiss. She was retired from theJacobsen Lawn Mower Plant in Brookhaven.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sister, EstellaKnapper; and her brothers, Johnell, Excell, Curtis L., and M.L.

Survivors are her husband, Howard R. Smith, of Tylertown; herson, Patrick R. Smith, of Brookhaven; her brothers, R.L. Davis, ofNew Orleans, and Jimmy Wells, of Tylertown; her sister, Mary NellThornton, of New Orleans; and her two grandchildren.
