Graveside services for Lurlene Cook Johnson of Brookhaven are 2p.m., today in Riverwood Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is incharge of arrangements.

Mrs. Johnson, 86, died Feb. 21, 2003, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in Benton County on Feb. 2, 1917, toClark D. Cook and Cordie Francis Edwards.

She was a retired co-owner of Johnsons Suprette Grocery Store,where she worked with her husband for 35 years. She was a member ofFirst Baptist Church. She was a charter member of the JuniorAuxiliary of Brookhaven, and served as president of the MothersCulture Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.

Survivors are her husband of 62 years, Lundie Johnson; herdaughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Johnny Robin of Knoxville,Tenn.; her brother, Lester Cook of Sarasota, Fla.; her sister,Warrene Johnson of Sarasota, Fla.; and one grandchild, BrandtRobin.
