Funeral services for Barbara J. “Bobbie”Byrd, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 30, at FriendshipM.B. Church, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. CharlesMcGee will be officiating. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

    Visitation is Sunday from 2 until 5 p.m. with the family presentfrom 5 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Byrd, 70, died Jan. 24, 2012, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on March 14, 1941.
