Services for Anne Louise Crenshaw Logan of Jackson are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, Dec. 31, at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home indowntown Jackson with burial in the Masonic Cemetery in Newton.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4-7 p.m., and Wednesday from 10-11a.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Logan, 78, died Dec. 28, 2003, at Riverside Medical Centerin Columbus, Ohio. She was born in Tchula.

She graduated from Newton High School in 1943, and attended EastCentral Junior College, University of Mississippi and MississippiState College for Women. She received her Bachelor of Sciencedegree in dietary nutrition and became a registered dietitian afteran internship in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was a lifelong member ofthe American Dietetic Association, and served on the nutritionstaff at the Baptist and University hospitals in Jackson. She wason the staff of University Medical Center for 27 years. At the timeof her retirement, she was serving as the director of foodservices.

She was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, whereshe was an active participant in her Sunday school class andWomen’s Circles. She was an avid gardener and enthusiasticparticipant in the ceramic arts. She enjoyed making quilts for herfamily. She supported her community in many ways, including theStew Pot Kitchen, Mississippi International Art Exhibitions andMethodist Council on Ministries. She was a former resident ofCharleston and Lawrence.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Robert L. Logan; andher sister, Imogene Crenshaw Joiner.

Survivors are her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda K. and WilliamM. Eddy of Columbus, Ohio; her son and daughter-in-law, Robert L.Logan Jr. and Jill of Brookhaven; her brother and sister-in-law,Dr. C.N. Crenshaw Jr. and Francis; her grandchildren, Dr. KelseyLogan of Madison, R. Burns Logan, J.D., M.B.A., of Jackson, andMorgan Anne Eddy of Columbus, Ohio; and a host of nieces andnephews.
