Services for Vonice Guillotte of Ruth were today at Ruth BaptistChurch with burial in Ruth Cemetery. Services were conducted by theRev. Glenn Crane. Brookhaven Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

Mrs. Guillotte, 69, died Feb. 14, 2003, at Lawrence CountyHospital in Monticello. She was born in Lawrence County on May 19,1933, to Houston Mitchell and Anna Bell Thames Mitchell.

She was a member of Ruth Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and one brother.

Survivors are her sons, Danny Guillotte of Gulf Breeze, Fla.,and Joseph Allen Guillotte of Reserve, La.; her daughter, MaryElizabeth Walker of Hamilton; her brothers, Elwood “Woodie” Barkerof Birmingham, Ala., and Jerry Mitchell of Chalmette, La.; hersisters, Helen Hedglin of Natchez, and Patsy Eaton of Chalmette;her half-sisters, Donna McCullough and Diane McEwen Jackson, bothof Brookhaven; her half-brother, Donald Mitchell of Brookhaven; hergrandchildren, Malcom Walker Jr., Jammie Walker and JosephPfalsgraff; and her great-grandchildren, Matthew Walker, EmmaWalker and Auston Walker.
