Funeral services for Joan Haynes, ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 18, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service, with burial in Mission Hill Baptist ChurchCemetery

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Haynes, 75, passed away Jan. 14, 2012, at her home surroundedby her loving family. She was born in Mississippi on July 19, 1936,to John Wesley and Myrtice Furr Harveston.

    She was a graduate of Brookhaven High School. She was a bookkeeperat Brookhaven Auto Parts and a member of Mission Hill BaptistChurch. Mrs. Haynes was a member of Brookhaven Moose Lodge.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, C.A. Haynes;seven siblings; and a great-granddaughter, Madison.

    Survivors are her daughters, Sherry Haynes and Lindy Haynes;sister, Betty Montgomery; three grandchildren, Michelle KingLofton, Lacy Young and Kristal Williams; and eightgreat-grandchildren, Kailey, Branden, Geran, Garrett, Morgan, Cole,Lily Grace and Cash.
