Services for Cecille D. Herring, of Meadville, are 2 p.m. today,Feb. 10 at Harrigill Funeral Home with burial in Wright’sCemetery.

Mrs. Herring, 85, died Feb. 9, 2005, at Meadville ConvalescentHome. She was born in Kola, Miss., in Covington County, on June 9,1919, to Guy D. Dickerson and Juanita Todd Dickerson.

She was retired from the housekeeping department at King’sDaughters Medical Center. She was a member of the Meadville UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, JosephBurch Herring II; one daughter, Janice Baird; one brother, Guy H.Dickerson; and two sisters, Margie Williams and Mildred Motley.

Survivors are her daughter, Charlotte Jones, of McCall Creek;her brother, Ralph Dickerson, of Ellisville; her sister, DorisSnipes, of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; three grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
