Services for Jessie Frank Stapleton of Brookhaven were 11 a.m.,Wednesday, June 6, at Providence M. B. Church with burial in MercySeat Church Cemetery. Williams Mortuary was in charge ofarrangements.

Mr. Stapleton, 51, died May 31, 2001, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born in Copiah County on Nov. 20, 1949, to JessieLee Stapleton and Thelma Byther Stapleton.

He was disabled. He was a member of Providence M. B. Church.

Preceding him in death were his sister, Stacy Stapleton; and onegrandchild.

Survivors are his mother, Thelma Stapleton of Wesson; hisfather, Jessie Lee Stapleton of Omaha, Neb.; his son, Jessie FrankStapleton Jr. of Chicago; his daughters, Sherry Stapleton andBonnie Stapleton, both of Hazlehurst; his brothers, SidneyStapleton of Hazlehurst, John Lee Stapleton of Seattle, Wash.,James Stapleton of Omaha, Neb., Howard Stapleton of Jackson, MarkStapleton of Atlanta, Jerry Stapleton of San Diego, RidgetteStapleton of Oakland, Calif., and Tracy Stapleton of Wesson; hissisters, Joanne Stapleton and Evelyn Stapleton, both of Omaha,Neb., and Flora Hunt and Betty Jean Willis, both of Brookhaven; and12 grandchildren.
