Pro wrestling event coming to Lincoln Co.

Professional wrestling will provide family entertainment forlocal wrestling fans on Saturday, Aug. 22, at the Lincoln CountyMulti-Purpose Complex. Doors open at 6:30 and the show starts at7:30, providing family entertainment.
“We don’t allow wrestlers to cuss,” said event director JoshNewell of Bayou Independent Wrestling. “It’s adult enough for theolder people to enjoy it but we keep it clean enough for thechildren. What you see on TV is offensive sometimes.”
Noel said community response has been positive in past events.”We have been good at pleasing the majority. We did a Relay ForLife in Natchez, which raised over $1,000. In Saline, La., thewrestling fundraiser was held at a church fellowship building.”
The wrestling card features Dusty Wolfe versus John Saxon in theopening bout. Also on tap are Mississippi’s own Jeremy Awesome vs.”The Monster” Clarice; The Crazy Cowboys vs. Inner Circel with theProfessor; Vordell Walker vs. John Heidenreich; and Micah Taylorvs. Steven Anthony, a.k.a. King of the 450.
Skandar Akbar and Dr. Death (Steve Williams) are some of thewrestlers who have appeared in the past.
Tickets are on sale at the Airport Pik-Pak. Cost is $10 foradults and $6 for children in advance. At the door, cost is $12 perticket.
