Services for Alton Edward Kees, of McComb, are 2 p.m. Saturday,Feb. 27, at Siloam Missionary Baptist Church in Brookhaven, withburial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Kees, 74, died Feb. 21, 2010, at McComb Nursing andRehabilitation Center. He was born in Lincoln County on May 7,1935, to Harry Kees Sr. and Audrey Kelly Kees. He was a formerresident of Bogue Chitto.

He was retired. He was a member of Jericho Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his sisters, Carrie MaeKees, Ollie Kees, Ernestine Kees, Josie Harris; and his brothers,Roscoe Kees, Louis Kees, Matthew Kees, Will Kees, Willie Kees, JohnKees, Harry Kees Jr., Fred Kees, Paul Kees and Houston Kees.

Survivors are his wife, Hazel Felder Kees, of Bogue Chitto; hissons, Anthony C. Kees and wife Alondra, of Carson, Calif., AltonKees Jr., of Los Angeles, Calif., and Bobby C. Johnson and wifeCrystal, of Long Beach, Calif.; his daughters, Sabrina N. Kees, ofBogue Chitto, and Thyra Conley-Compton and husband Arthur, ofCompton, Calif.; his seven grandchildren and fivegreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relativesand friends.
