Services for Andy Benjamin “Ben” DeLozier Jr., of Bude, are 3p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church inMeadville with burial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville. FranklinFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. DeLozier, 85, died Oct. 20, 2009, at Natchez CommunityHospital. He was born in Collinwood, Tenn., on Nov. 8, 1923, toAndy Benjamin DeLozier Sr. and Eva Lawson DeLozier.
He retired from International Paper in Natchez after 36 years ofservice in the finishing and shipping department. Mr. DeLozier alsoserved with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member ofLighthouse Pentecostal Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, QuentinDeLozier and Kermit DeLozier; and his sisters, Sylvia Soroka andElectra DeLozier.
Survivors are his wife, Wilma Dunn DeLozier, of Bude; his sons,Benny DeLozier and wife, Kathy, of Lawton, Okla., Daniel DeLozierand wife, Kay, of McCall Creek, Kenneth DeLozier and wife, Thelma,of Meadville, and William DeLozier and fiancé, Sheramie Patterson,of Holden, La.; his daughters, Brenda Holloway, of Bude, WandaSeale and husband, David, of Tampa, Fla., and Barbara Ross andhusband, Mike, of McNair; his sisters, Glistura DeLozier, of FortLauderdale, Fla., and Comellia Liles, of Dallas, Texas; his 16grandchildren; his 22 great-grandchildren; and his twogreat-great-grandchildren.
