Services for Sandra “Sandy” Lynn Simpson, of Brookhaven, are 2p.m. Sunday, Feb. 28, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel,with burial in Riverwood Memorial Park

Visitation is Saturday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Miss Simpson, 38, died Feb. 24, 2010, at North Oaks Hospital inHammond, La. She was born on Aug. 17, 1971, to James Daniel Simpsonand Ruby Moore Simpson.

She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her grandfathers, J.W. Moore, of UnionChurch, and Jesse Dee Simpson of Port Gibson; and her cousin,Melvin O’Neal.

Survivors are her parents; her sister, Amy Simpson Heard andhusband Jaymie, of Wesson; her grandmothers, Stella Moore and RuthRussum, both of Brookhaven; special family members, Bobby and JimmyMoore, and Tom Twiner; and many other family members.

Donations may be made in her memory to Pleasant Grove UnitedMethodist Church.
