Enterprise athletes honored

The Enterprise faculty and coaches honored their varsity athletes with a spring banquet to recognize the football, basketball, softball, baseball, cheerleader, dance, tennis, golf and archery teams.
Enterprise Booster Club president John Paul Holmes welcomed the crowd to the banquet that was held in Enterprise gymnasium.
Principal Shannon Eubanks started the awards ceremony and recognized two seniors with the Lindy Callahan Award: Kelsey Hux and Tony Blair.
Coaches from each sport recognized their team’s achievements during the year and players were given awards to signify their hard work.
Hannah Moak received the Most Valuable Player award in softball. Travis Brinson received the Most Valuable Offensive Player award in boys basketball. Jarrod Johnson was honored with the Most Valuable Defensive Player Award in boys basketball. Caroleah Brister received honors in girls basketball with the Most Valuable Offensive Player Award. Veonka Sanders was honored as the Most Valuable Defensive Player Award in girls basketball.
Jacob Greer got the Most Outstanding Male Golfer. Katie Case received the Most Outstanding Female Golfer. Shane Jordan was honored with the Top Male Archer. Audrey Cole received the Top Female Archer.
Caroleah Brister and Jeremy Ables were selected as the Most Valuable Players in tennis. Taylor Rutland recieved with Most Valuable Defensive Player Award in football. Lance Spring was selected the Most Valuable Offensive Player in football.
Enterprise baseball coach Cass Brister recognized his players during the ceremony but did not hand out rewards because they just ended their season Monday night. Brister did give out the Region 6-2A All-District rewards.
Before closing of the ceremony, Holmes and other Enterprise booster club members announced the recipients of the scholarship awards.
Summer Cliburn received the $500 Gold Award. Konner Burke was honored with the $500 Maroon Award. Kelsey Hux received the $1,000 Yellow Jacket Award.
Seniors in each sport were recognized with awards for their effort. Team members received recognition for their participation at center court.
