Thomas H. King

Services for Thomas H. King of Collins are 10 a.m., Friday,Sept. 29, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in New HopeBaptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday, Sept. 28, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. King, 70, died Sept. 27, 2000, of lung cancer at MississippiState Veterans Home in Collins. He was born in Lawrence County onApril 25, 1930, to Jessie J. and Mary Lambert King.

He was a retired self-employed carpenter. He was a member ofCarmel Baptist Church. He was an army veteran who served in theKorean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Martin,Jim and Wilford King; four sisters, Grace Love, Inez Cox, AtlaHarper and Tarncie Renfroe.

He is survived by an ex-wife, Juanita King of Monticello; andsisters, Alma Cupstid of Monticello and Merle Stone of SanFrancisco, Calif.
