CLIFTON ‘BUDDY’ HARRIS SR.
Services for Clifton “Buddy” Harris Sr., of Brookhaven, are 11a.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Macedonia M.B. Church with burial in thechurch cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Monday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral homewith family present from 6 until 7 p.m.
Mr. Harris, 82, died June 18, 2009, at his residence. He wasborn in Franklin County on Sept. 3, 1926, to Douglas Harris andJosephine Harris.
He was retired after 52 years with Dunaway Logging Co., where hewas known as “Slick” to his co-workers. He was a member ofMacedonia M.B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his sisters, Mary,Myrtis, Willie Mae, Alene, Mildred and Eva Nell; and his brothers,L. C. and Thomas.
Survivors are his wife, Margaret Harris, of Brookhaven; hisstepmother, Mae Ella Harris, of Bunkley; his daughter, VoncileSmith, of Brookhaven; his sons, Clifton Harris Jr., Johnny Herring,Robert Thadison and wife, Mamie, James Thadison and wife, Juanita,John C. Thadison and wife, Margaret, Varnell Thadison and wife,Rosie, and Anthony Thadison and wife, Brenda, all of Brookhaven;his sisters, Elmerie Shaw and husband, A.J., and Shelly Dickey andhusband, Thomas, all of Natchez, Willie Hunt and husband, Bobby,and Pearlie Mae Griffin and husband, Milton, all of Bunkley, SharonElmo and husband, Ronnie, of Natchez, and Floann Harris and PrentisHarris, both of Bude; his brothers, J. C. Harris, of Natchez, BillyHarris, of Bossier City, La., and McArthur Harris and wife, Mary,of Hazlehurst; 35 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and manynieces, nephews and other relatives.

Services for Karen T. Reynolds, of Meadville, are 2 p.m. Sunday,June 21, at Bude Baptist Church with burial in Antioch BaptistChurch Cemetery in Hazlehurst. Franklin Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.
Mrs. Reynolds, 61, died June 18, 2009, at University ofMississippi Medical Center. She was born in Hazlehurst on July 21,1947, to Sidney Thompson and Helen Douglas Thompson.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of DAR and the Pine BurrGarden Club and was active in Franklin County 4H Club and theMorgan Fork Coon Hunting Association. She was a longtime member ofAntioch Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her father-in-law,Alfred Reynolds.
Survivors are her husband, Ray Reynolds, of Meadville; her sons,Randy Reynolds and wife, Sherry, of Meadville, and Ronnie Reynoldsand wife, Marnie, of Byars, Okla.; her brothers, Kevin Thompson andwife, Christy, and Booky Thompson and wife, Kim, all of Hazlehurst;her sisters, Susie Jackson and husband, Billy, of Bassfield, andJudy Lea and husband, Ronnie, of Sontag; her mother-in-law, KatieReynolds, of Meadville; her grandchildren, Alyse Reynolds, ofMeadville, Sgt. Aaron Musick, of Bomholder, Germany, Asa Musick, ofAlexandria, La., and Reece, Reid and Rylee Reynolds, of Byars; andher favorite pet, Sampson.
She was expecting her first great-grandchild, AubreaAnn RosaReynolds, in September.
