Funeral services for Irma “Nell” Beeson, ofBrookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service Chapel, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

    Visitation is Friday, from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Beeson, 73, died Aug. 17, 2011, at her residence. She was bornin Mississippi on Feb. 9, 1938, to Ferdinand and Eunice Graves ColeDelaughter.

    She was a pageant director for more than 30 years and loved tojudge pageants. She also worked at It’s Fashions for many years.She was a member of Central Baptist Church.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Bobby Beeson;her daughter, Beverly Beeson Dykes; and her sisters, Mary AliceBardwell, Sara Elizabeth Bardwell and Bessie Ray Rollins; and herbrothers Leroy and Bill Delaughter.

    Survivors are her sons, Bobby G. Beeson and wife, Lisa, and EricBeeson and wife, Tammy; her daughter, Priscilla Wheat and husband,Jeremy; her sisters, Annie Bell “Pat” Carter and Christine Smith;her five grandchildren, Afton Beeson Linton, Brandon Beeson andfiancée, Kayle Paquin, Taylor Beeson, Hunter Wheat and GrasynWheat; her five great-grandchildren, Shaylee Hedgepeth, MaddoxLinton, Bradyn Linton, Drake Smith and Camdyn Beeson; and herspecial friend, Jack Smith.
