Six establishments ace inspections

BROOKHAVEN — Six establishments aced health inspections in Lincoln County this week. The Mississippi Department of Health publishes health inspection results and grades in an online database. 

Kentucky Fried Chicken, located at 764 Brookway Boulevard, earned an “A” rating for the seventh straight time since 2022. 

Poppa’s Fish House, located at 204 US51 North, earned an “A” rating for the 21st straight time since 2012.

Jaines Pastry Shop, located at 206 S. Whitworth Avenue, earned an “A” rating for the 18th straight time since 2016. 

Walmart’s Deli, located at 960 Brookway Boulevard, got back in the “A” rating category. It had a streak of five straight “A” ratings snapped in May 2024. Since 2016, Walmart Deli has received 14 “A” ratings. 

Kings Daughter Medical Center earned an “A” rating for the 17th straight time since 2016.

Ruth General Store, located at 3472 Ruth Drive SE, earned an “A” rating for the second time since opening this year.
