Brookhaven native Dixon completes Graduate School of Banking

Brookhaven native Mason Dixon is among the 152 bankers to receive graduation diplomas recently from the Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking.
Dixon is vice president of Trustmark National Bank in Jackson.
During the three summer sessions of the GSB, students receive 180 hours of classroom instruction, planned evening study, and final examinations. The program covers all aspects of banking, economics and related subjects. Students from 18 states and Mexico were part of this session.
Sponsored by 15 bankers associations in cooperation with the Division of Con-tinuing Education at LSU, the Graduate School of Banking requires attendance on campus for three years, with extensive bank study assignments between sessions.
