Two men are on the run after escaping custody of the Claiborne County Jail, approximately 48 miles west-northwest of Brookhaven.

The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation and Claiborne County Sheriff’s Office are asking the public’s help in locating 24-year-old Tyrekennel Collins and 18-year-old Dezarrious Johnson. Both men are described as black males with brown eyes and black hair. Collins is 5’11” tall, weighing 142 pounds. Johnson is 5’6” tall, weighing 115 pounds.

Anyone who sees either person is warned not to approach them, as they are considered armed and dangerous. Report sightings or other information to CCSO at 601-437-5161, or call 9-1-1.
