TERRY — Mississippi Lottery Corporation reports a Wesson woman won a nice cash prize Monday.

The woman bought a cash pop ticket from Quick Trip in Terry. Her $10 purchased netted a $1,000 prize, which before tax, leaves a profit of $990.

Money raised by the Mississippi Lottery goes towards infrastructure funds and then education funds after it meets a certain target.

June 30 marks the end of FY2024 for the Mississippi Lottery Corporation. We will provide an update on how much money the lottery raised this year.
