BROOKHAVEN — Four local establishments aced recent inspections to close out January 2024. The Mississippi Department of Health reports restaurant inspection scores through an online database. 

BKWIK #12, Diamond J Meat Market and Deer Processing, C-Store and the Old Koke Plant all passed inspections this week.

C-Store is located at 714 East Monticello Street and earned its second straight A rating since 2023. According to the MSDH, C-Store’s first inspection was in 2023 and is considered a fast food or delicatessen. 

BKWIK #12 is a gas station located at 23 East Lincoln Drive Northeast and earned an A rating. MSDH reports this is the 12th A rating for the gas station since 2016 and the sixth straight A rating. 

The Old Koke Plant, located at 620 US51 South, earned an A rating for the fourth straight time since the gas station first opened in 2022. 

Diamond J earned its 10th A rating since 2019. The meat market and deer processing business is located at 1705 US84 in Brookhaven.
