BROOKHAVEN — NWS Jackson has issued a tornado watch until 5 p.m. for Lincoln, Copiah, Lawerence, Franklin, Jefferson Davis, Amite, Pike and other counties across south Mississippi.

A few tornadoes are likely for this region with scattered hail and scattered gusts up to 70 mph as storms continue to approach.
