3 injured in weekend I-55 crash

Three people were injured in a weekend crash on Interstate 55 involving a single vehicle.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, a 2019 Lincoln SUV driven by 44-year-old Katirena Robinson of Baton Rouge was traveling north on I-55 when it left the roadway and collided with a tree, according to Cpl. Craig James of Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M.
Robinson and her two passengers — 45-year-old Audrey Stokes and 27-year-old Felecia Carney, both of Baton Rouge — received non-fatal injuries and were transported to King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven.
The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
