“When Cougar fans enter the Lawrence County High School campus this fall for football season, they may temporarily think that they are seeing double,” said Lawrence County Schools Family and Community Engagement Specialist Kelsey Lambert. “No fear, all is well! LCHS has four pairs of twins, all female, supporting the fall athletic season.”
Kylie and Kassidy Smith are sophomore cheerleaders for the Cougars from Monticello. They are the daughters of Keith and Cabie Cliburn and Christopher Smith.
Brooke and Braci Conn are also sophomores who are cheerleaders. They are the daughters of Joe and Sherry Conn of Jayess.
Reagan and Rylea Carney are seniors at LCHS and participate in cheer, volleyball and soccer. They are the daughters of Corey and Brandy Carney of Jayess.
Gabie and Gracie Thornhill are also seniors. They were members of the LCHS Marching Band for three years and continue to support Cougar Athletics. They are the daughters of Wayne and Sylvia Thornhill of Jayess.
“These young ladies promise to bring double the cheer and excitement as the Cougars begin their fall sports season,” Lambert said.
