The roller coaster is ready and cotton candy will be, too, when the Brookhaven Exchange Club flings open its gates at 6 p.m. today for the 2021 annual Spring Fling.

Armbands for rides are $10 and parking and admission are free.

The fair will be open until 9 p.m.

Funds raised from armband sales help offset fair expenses, as well as provide scholarships awarded throughout the year.

The Spring Fling will also operate Friday night 6-9 p.m. and Saturday 6-10 p.m.

With a minimal chance of rain Thursday, fairgoers can expect temperatures anywhere from the high of 69 degrees down to the mid-40s, with light and variable winds.

The forecast for Friday projects similar temps and a slight chance of a late shower. Saturday evening’s forecast calls slightly cooler temperatures but very little chance of precipitation.
