Dry, cool weather is forecast for the Brookhaven area over the next several days with almost no chance of rain over the next several days.

The fall weather is expected to mean low temperatures will be in the low- to mid-40s in the early mornings.

As the sun comes up the air will warm up to the upper 60s to low 70s meaning a beautiful week ahead across the Brookhaven-Lincoln County area.

Forecasters say some patchy frost may be likely as a cold front will drop south across our area today reinforcing the already cool weather.

Elevated fire danger exists, however, as the drier air has dropped the humidity into the 20 and 30 percent range.
