The Lincoln County School District will meet Monday to finalize back-to-school plans.
On Friday, LCSD Superintendent David Martin released a statement regarding the 2020-2021 school year. Because of the effects of COVID-19, many parents are worried about sending their children back in August.
“Lincoln County School District Board and all our staff want you to know that student and staff safety is our primary concern,” Martin wrote.
The school board will meet Monday at LCSD central office to discuss and finalize plans for students returning to school. The suggested plan includes traditional face-to-face learning with an online option for anyone with health concerns.
Once the plan has been finalized and voted on, the district will release details to help prepare students, parents and teachers for the upcoming school year.
