West Lincoln (5-7) only trailed East Marion (8-2) by a single score at halftime of their MHSAA 2A playoff matchup Friday night in Marion County.

Unfortunately for the Bears that would be as close as things would get in the second half as the Region 8-2A champion Eagles stretched their wings in a 58-21 win over WL.

East Marion moves on to host Scott Central (9-2) Friday in the second round.
