The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a truck fire at 3:06 p.m. Wednesday on Dixie Road. No injuries were reported.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to a two-vehicle accident without injuries Wednesday on Hwy. 44 at Jayess Road.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported seven calls Wednesday, with one transfer to Jackson. There were six emergency calls; four medical, with three in the city and one in the county; and two traumas, with one in the city and one in the county.
