The following closings have been announced for this year’s Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s holidays:

• Lincoln County offices in the Lincoln County-Brookhaven Government Complex will be closed Nov. 22 and 23, Dec. 24, 25 and 31, and Jan. 1. The offices will also be closed Monday, Nov. 12, for Veterans Day.

• City of Brookhaven offices will be closed on those same days.

• Arrow Disposal Service Inc. will run its regular garbage routes on Thanksgiving.

• Local public school districts will be closed from Nov. 19-23 for Thanksgiving, and from Dec. 24 to Jan. 4 for Christmas and New Year’s.

• Brookhaven Academy will follow the same schedule for Thanksgiving, but will take Christmas break beginning Dec. 17, with classes returning on Jan. 3.

• The United States Post Office will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
