Funeral service for Linda Jean Davis, of Brookhaven, will be today, Oct. 16, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Lucien Baptist Church with burial at the church cemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be today, Oct. 16, 2018, from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.

Mrs. Davis, 69, died Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at her residence. She was born Jan. 3, 1949, to James Gilbert Pickering and Jewell Dean Laird Pickering. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, taking care of her home and family. Her greatest pleasure was watching her grandchildren participate in sports and other activities. She was a member of Lucien Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Davis.

Survivors are her parents; sons, Brad Davis and wife, Keri, Dusty Davis; brother, Ronnie Pickering; sisters, Brenda Simmons and husband, Lamar, Debbie Barfoot, and Sandy Smith; two grandchildren, Cheyanne Davis and Mason Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
