Some area offices to close Monday

State, county and city offices will be closed Monday in honor of George Washington’s birthday, which is a state holiday.
The date, Feb. 19, is also celebrated as Presidents Day.
The Daily Leader office will be open and a newspaper will be published Tuesday.
