An arrest is expected soon of a man suspected of shooting another man at the Silver Creek Washateria Friday night, authorities said.

Lawrence County Sheriff Lessie Butler said a warrant will be signed today for the man’s arrest. He said the victim was hospitalized in Hattiesburg following the shooting, which occurred around 9 p.m.

The victim has since been released.
