“Death, Cost and Destruction: The Impact of Opioids in Your Community” is a town hall rally set for 6:30 p.m. today at Lincoln Civic Center.

A panel of representatives from the Department of Mental Health along with the FBI and U.S. Department of Justice’s Drug Enforcement Administration along with the state Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Narcotics and Board of Pharmacy will be on hand to discuss opioid abuse and addiction and how communities can get involved to prevent the death and destruction caused by opioid addiction.
