Tickets and sponsorships are available for the Lincoln County Ducks Unlimited annual banquet.
The banquet will be Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Brookhaven Building at 1134 Belt Line Dr. NE.
The goal of the banquet is to help raise funds for the organization’s wetlands and waterfowl conservation mission, said chapter spokesman Gary Blair.
Ducks Unlimited is the largest nonprofit organization dedicated to conserving North America’s continually disappearing waterfowl habitats. Since it was established in 1937, the organization has conserved more than 14 million acres, he said.
Besides the meal catered by Diamond J Meat Market, a highlight of the banquet is the live and silent auctions and raffle.
More than 20 rifles and handguns will be given away throughout the event.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind Ducks Unlimited merchandise and interact with other outdoor enthusiasts, Blair said.
Among the items available at the auction are Ducks Unlimited 80th anniversary limited edition artwork and various wildlife prints featuring deer, ducks and turkeys.
State Chairman Dwight Jones will be the guest speaker for the evening.
Individual tickets are $50 or $75 for a couple and include a one-year Ducks Unlimited membership. Sponsorships are also available.
“This committee has worked tirelessly to make this event a huge success,” said Regional Director Tom Ware. “Because of the outstanding local support, and help from the committee securing donations, this is sure to be a great year.”
