A Lincoln County grand jury recently indicted several individuals for crimes involving drug possession and other offenses, including Jamie T. Reese for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and drug trafficking of more than 40 doses of hydrocodone.

Reese’s other indictments include possession of at least 10 but less than 30 grams of methamphetamine, possession of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of cocaine, possession of at least 10 but less than 20 doses of morphine and possession of less than two doses of oxycodone.

His court date is set for Nov. 6.

Indictments served

When the grand jury agrees the evidence is sufficient to establish the commission of a crime, it returns an indictment endorsed by the grand jury foreman with the phrase “true bill” to indicate the information presented is sufficient to justify the trial of the suspect.

• James A. Sanders for possession of at least 10 but less than 30 grams of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana and possession of a firearm by convicted felon.

• Jesse A. Brister for the offense of sale of at least two but less than 10 doses of oxycodone.

• Brandy Mayberry for sale of less than 30 grams of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a church.

• Harold Edward Wall for sale of at least one-tenth but less than two grams of methamphetamine within 1,500 feet of a church.

• Sarah Denise Davis for the sale of at least 20 but less than 40 doses of hydrocodone and for the sale of less than 30 grams of marijuana.

• Kenneth Dean Smith for conspiracy to sell methamphetamine and sale of less than two grams of methamphetamine.

• William Shelton for the sale of at least two but less than ten grams of methamphetamine.

• Sammy Joe Hall for sale of less than 30 grams of marijuana.

• Crystal Leigh Miller for the possession of less than two doses of alprazolam, possession of less than two grams of methamphetamine, possession of less than 100 doses of clonazepam and possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana.

• Mckenzie Bessonette for two counts of burglary and petit larceny.

• Kenneth Smith for sale of at least 10 but less than 20 doses of hydrocodone.

• Misty Lane Prather for the sale of at least two but less than 10 doses of clonazepam within 1,500 feet of a church and sale of at least two but less than 10 doses of alprazolam within 1,500 feet of a church.

• Brandon S. Anding for possession of at least 100 but less than 500 doses of clonazepam and possession of at least 10 doses of tramadol.

The following individuals pleaded guilty to their charges and were sentenced in Lincoln County Circuit Court:

• Joshua Sicard pleaded guilty to burglary of a dwelling and was sentenced to nine years with five years suspended with four years to serve.

• Garrick Harris pleaded guilty to sale of less than 2 grams of cocaine within 1,500 feet of a church and was sentenced to 16 years with nine years suspended for seven years serve.

• Justin Pruden pleaded guilty to possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor, and is ordered to pay court costs of $260.75, and a $300 fine.

• James Donald Warren pleaded guilty to grand larceny and was sentenced to five years with three years suspended for two years to serve.

• Willie C. Gates pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sale a controlled substance and sentenced to 10 years with nine years suspended for one year to serve.

• Pele P. Benjamin pleaded guilty to sale of less than 30 grams of marijuana within 1,500 feet of a church and sentenced to six years with three years suspended for three years to serve.

• Dontraye Orlando Smith pleaded guilty to felony fleeing and sentenced to five years with four years suspended (time served) for four years post release supervision.
