The Brookhaven Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at 11:22 a.m. Thursday on Hwy. 51.

Monticello reports

The Monticello Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at 3:25 a.m. Thursday on New Hope Road. Injuries were reported.

The Monticello Police and Lawrence County Sheriff’s departments reported no activity Thursday.

Copiah County reports

The Wesson Police Department reports for Thursday were:

• One citation for an expired tag.

The Copiah County Sheriff’s Department reported no activity Thursday.

The Wesson Volunteer Fire Department reported no activity Thursday.

Highway Patrol report

Mississippi Highway Patrol Troop M responded to an accident involving two vehicles at 11:13 a.m. Thursday on I-55 north bound near exit 38. No injuries were reported. They responded to a single vehicle accident without injuries at 4:51 p.m. Thursday on Hwy. 550. No injuries were reported.

KDMC Ambulance report

King’s Daughters Medical Center Ambulance Service reported 17 calls Thursday. Seven were transfers, with five to Jackson, one to Franklin County and one to Vicksburg. There were 10 emergency calls; five medical, with four in the city and one in the county; three traumas in the city; two motor vehicle accidents in the city.
