Hwy. 43 in Lawrence County remains closed

Both directions of Highway 43 are closed due to flooding in Lawrence County, and will remain closed until the roadway is clear for travel. The closure affects the section of highway between Silver Creek and Hwy. 478.

“MDOT crews are on the scene monitoring road conditions in and around Lawrence County,” said Transportation Commissioner Tom King. “Motorists are advised to avoid flooded roadways and to find an alternate route during this closure.”
