The softball game scheduled tonight at 6 p.m. in Brookhaven between the Lady Panthers and the West Lincoln Lady Bears has been canceled due to weather.

A balloon release in memory of outfielder Brittney Hill, who was killed in a two-vehicle accident Friday night, was to be held tonight before the game. It has been rescheduled to Thursday before the game against Lawrence County Lady Cougars, said Brookhaven head coach Mandy Vinson.

The Lady Panthers are asking students, teachers and staff at Brookhaven High School as well as those in the community to participate in “Rockin’ the Red for BB” Tuesday by wearing red to honor the junior.
